The inaugural Be A Lover Fest is a celebration of art, community, and the tenacious soul of New York City. This community audio walking tour features artists and musicians who will create live art to activate community spaces in support of businesses that kept our city going and stayed open during the shutdown in 2020. Their art brought hope and beauty to the people of NYC during devastation, and now we celebrate them. Each artist is a friend of SRF and has a goal of creating work for public good.

Be A Lover Fest is about celebrating the artist and businesses who healed our city, keeping us going during a time when things were dark. This project is interactive and features the stories told by artists themselves with a companion podcast; they will be available online, therefore allowing participants to walk the tour as they hear the artist in their own words. Many of the stops will be centered around your businesses as a way for everyone to show their appreciation for your continued support in this mutually beneficial relationship of artist and community. Each artist and musician will be stationed at a local business where they will create live. The tour will end with a block party on Elizabeth Street.
