Private Site Proposal To Save Elizabeth Street Garden & Meet Affordable Housing Goals
ESG has worked with Councilmember Christopher Marte’s office on a proposal involving privately owned sites that could each provide 123 or more affordable housing units and additional housing. The owners of these sites are ready and willing to work with Mayor Adams, First Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer, and the Housing Department. This is a true solution for everyone that has the potential to achieve even more housing without any loss to the community.
