Goods for the Study - Mulberry Street
Join us for a morning of art and mindfulness in Nolita! Meet us at 10am at Goods for the Study on Mulberry Street to collect your art supply kit: an A5 Midori Notebook, Le Plume colored markers, and a Tombow Fudenosuke pen. After an introductory lesson from our guest artist, Gavin Snider, the group will make their way down the street to the Elizabeth Street Garden for a guided drawing session using the garden and the surrounding cityscape as inspiration.
In the whirlwind of city life, it can be easy to forget to slow down and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of our surroundings—to let our minds rest amidst the constant acitivty going on around us. Join us on the morning of Sunday, October 23rd, at Goods For The Study (234 Mulberry Street) as we welcome local artist Gavin Snider for a lesson on how to use everyday stationery and pens to capture the beauty of the city, and how to utilize our creativity as a means of practicing mindfulness in our everyday lives.
Participants will have the opportunity to supplement their drawing materials for the lesson with additional products available for purchase at our Mulberry Street store, and are encouraged to bring any favorite pens, markers, highlighters, or pencils to utilize during the lesson.
We ask that all guests wear masks while in our Goods for the Study stores.
